Independent Third-Party Service

Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refund requests are handled when you use our independent reservation assistance service.

1. Who Controls Cancellations

We are an independent third-party travel assistance provider. We are not a rail carrier and we do not set, control, or override cancellation rules. Every cancellation, change, or refund is ultimately governed by the fare rules of the carrier or booking provider that holds your reservation.

Our role is to help you understand those rules and to guide you through the applicable cancellation or change process.

2. Requesting a Cancellation

To request assistance with a cancellation, call +1 (888) 885-4611. Please have your reservation reference, travel date, passenger name, and route details available so we can assist you accurately.

Cancellation requests are only considered submitted once they have been confirmed by the carrier or booking provider. A phone conversation with us alone does not cancel a reservation.

3. Timing and Fare Rules

Refund eligibility usually depends on the fare type purchased and how far in advance the cancellation is requested. Flexible and refundable fares typically allow cancellation with little or no penalty; promotional, discounted, or non-refundable fares may carry partial or full forfeiture of the amount paid.

Cancellations made after departure, or after the applicable cut-off window set by the carrier, are generally not refundable.

4. Changes and Rebooking

Where a fare permits changes, the carrier may charge a change fee and any difference in fare between the original and new booking. We can explain the options available to you, but we cannot waive fees or guarantee availability on any specific train or date.

5. Assistance Fees

Any service or assistance fee charged by us, if applicable, is separate from the fare paid to the carrier or booking provider and is disclosed to you before it is charged. Assistance fees cover the support and guidance we provide and are not refundable once the assistance has been rendered, except where required by law.

6. Refund Processing

Refunds are issued by the carrier or booking provider, not by us, and are returned to the original payment method used for the booking. Processing times vary and are typically between 7 and 30 business days depending on the provider and your bank.

We cannot accelerate, guarantee, or alter a refund decision made by a carrier or booking provider.

7. Disruptions Outside Your Control

If a train is delayed, cancelled, or disrupted by the carrier, compensation or rebooking is handled under that carrier's published policy. We can help you identify the correct process and prepare your request.
